Absences

Excused Absences

Excused absences are only for the student's illness or a death in the family.

Excused absences should not exceed three (3). If a student has a chronic illness please inform administration, so we can assist you. 661-948-3011.

When your student is ill please call the office prior to class and give the following information:

-Student's name

-Day/Time of class

-Grade

-Teacher's name

-Reason for Absence
 

Unexcused Absences

It is recognized that, on rare occasions, it is important for the student to attend other functions that are available only during class time (doctor and dentist appointment should not be scheduled during class time.) Three (3) unexcused absences are allowed during the year.

STUDENTS WHO MISS MORE THAN THEIR ALLOTTED EXCUSED & UNEXCUSED ABSENCES, PER THE PASTOR,  MAY RESULT IN THE POSTPONEMENT OF A STUDENT'S SACRAMENT AND/OR THE STUDENT MAY NEED TO REPEAT THE YEAR.
