Always Our Children
“Discussion Group on Always Our Children: Most
Catholics know someone who is gay or lesbian - a family member, a friend or
an acquaintance at work or school. Twelve years ago the U.S. Catholic
Bishops published Always Our Children, a letter to parents of gay and
lesbian people to help them lead their families with love and respect.
Starting Sunday, October 11th, Mary Immaculate Parish will
host a four-week discussion group on the bishops’ letter and the issues
related to it. All are welcome. You may come to share or simply to
listen. The discussions, in both English and Spanish, will be supportive
and discreet. Join the group in the Upstairs Meeting Room #2 of the Rectory
at 2:00PM. Mary Immaculate Parish is located at 10390 Remick Avenue in
Pacoima. For more information, cal (818) 899-0278 and ask to speak to
Father John Lasseigne, OMI, or Father Jack Curran, OMI.” |
